Child Care Advocates United (CCAU) alongside Illinois
Directors/Owners of Childcare Centers (ILDOCC) and Southern Illinois
Early Childhood Action Team (SIECAT) are hosting a series of virtual
meet and greet events in preparation for the 2022 Gubernatorial Race.
We have extended invitations to each Gubernatorial candidate to
participate in an evening that they can share in this hour long forum
style meet and greet with providers, early childhood teachers, families,
etc. their perspectives on pressing issues across the early childhood
industry as it relates to their candidacy for Governor.
Each candidate who has responded to the invitation will receive their
own evening and the full hour to answer questions on early childhood
issues presented by CCAU, ILDOCC, and SIECAT.
Please keep in mind that these are non-partisan meet and greets with
the intention of hearing the candidates stances on our issues.
For the candidates who did not respond to the invitation, we have
presented them the opportunity to answer our questions in a written
format and the feedback from these will be shared with members.
We encourage our members to register for each of these events. If
you cannot attend the live session, the recording will be available to
participants who have registered.
